Mission and Vision

Mission



The college shall continuously respond, anticipate and adapt to new, emerging and enabling technology as a way of providing advanced training to our students thus making them competitive in the global world of business and technology.

It shall constantly advocate values, promote and spearhead researches and other development that would lead to better quality of life.

Vision



In consonance with the vision of the University, the College of Business shall always be the model school for academic excellence in the area of Business, setting the trends and standards in the academic community.

Concerned with attainment of the highest quality of life for each individual, the college shall produce value oriented, socially and intellectually balanced, graduates who shall be major contributors to the advancement of new technology as their contribution to nation building.


Quality Objectives

  2. 2. To Achieve recognition as one of respected business professional and competent service providers in the field of accounting.
  3. 3. To maintain quality research output and program for business and accounting profession.

Program Educational Objectives

The BSA program shall produce graduates who are:

  1. 1. Possess competencies, discipline, and technical training as CPAs, practitioners, land gainful employment and /or become successful entrepreneurs.
  2. 2. Render professional services in the broad spectrum of accounting, auditing and taxation at the highest level of ethical performance.
  3. 3. Make positive contribution for the continuous improvement of the accountancy profession through research and studies.
  4. 4. Demonstrate proficiency in organizational communication for effective human relations.
  5. 5. Apply effective leadership in the management of professional accountancy practice.


The BSBA program shall produce graduates who are:

  1. 1. Ability to discern the true nature of a situation and evaluation of applicable principles and techniques, reliable evaluation of information, openness to constructive change and consideration of future contingencies and development.
  2. 2. Ability to review, interpret, evaluate financial data and systems/ operational data/ controls in order to form conclusions and /or make recommendations on validity/ usefulness/ correctness/ compliance within established policies, procedures, guidelines, agreements and/or legislation.

  4. 4. Ability to use qualitative and quantitative tools and methodologies to support organizational decision making.
