The University of Perpetual Help Laguna's College of Computer Studies Department held their annual CCS Days last February 1-4, 2016. The Deparment held a parade as the start of the celebration. There are four teams in the parade, they were the Grey Wolves, Yellow Titans, Green Python and the Maroon Eagles. After the parade the competition have started. The team battles to gain points to be the overall champion of the event. First event was the Human Robot, followed by the Muse and Escort and the everf famous Just Dance game. The championship of the ball games also started on the Afternoon. Other competition was held on the Second Day, Teams compete in different events like Programming Comepetition, Quiz Bee and the famous game of Amazing Race. On the same day the Championship of the Ball Games have been concluded. Enrichment Seminar for the 3rd Day. Conducting seminar and workshop for the Students of Computer Studies, First and Second Year on the Morning and 3rd and Fourth Year in the Afternoon. On the Last day of the CCS Days, the awarding and announcement of winners are held in Enchanted Kingdom. The Students were given their CCS Days 2016 as they watched the Announcement of winners and raffle in EK. Grey Wolves were awarded as the Overall Champion. Everyone is excited to take home the Raffle prizes expecially the Grand Prize the Laptop. After the Prizes were given, the Students are allowed to stay and enjoy the rides and foods in the Amusement Park. The Park was filled with CCS Students spreading laughter and happiness. It was the Happiest day of the CCS days. Until Next Time!

Brief History


The increasing demands and applications of computers and information technology in the different fields of endeavor required the need to provide more extensive and specialized training in computers and research. This paved the way to the opening of the BS Computer Science three years later

Our advanced and state of the art computer facilities simulating the corporate environment, a component line up of faculty members, an up to date and well balanced curriculum and our continuing linkages with the different companies are keystone in delivering the kind of training that is at par with the institution's commitment to character building. With this as our mission coupled with massive technical training will be our basic foundation to help build a better nation.

We provide students with the knowledge and understanding of emerging technologies so that they become lifelong learners imbued with the Perpetualite character and values, and are able to adapt to technological changes and function in an informational society through updated, specialized, and individualized instructions and support programs.

  1. To promote greater awareness and to encourage creative appreciation of computers and its related field offered in the University in particular and the Filipino society in general.
  2. To encourage wider application of Information Technology among its members and to support related fields in the university and the Filipino society, within the context of social responsibility and relevance.
  3. To foster excellence among the members though the activities of the organization.
  4. To involve the members of the organization with the university constituency and the Filipino community in order to interface the different aspects of the individual development through Information Technology.

  • Demonstrate a problem solving ability in the application of fundamentals of information technology concepts
  • Able to apply the principles and practices for software designs and implementation of computer-based solution;

  • Demonstrate ability to assist the formulation and implementation of an effective project plan.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of computer accounting and related areas in private and government setting and proficiency in local and international accounting.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of emerging technologies and a working knowledge of currently available software tools for operation of database, networks and multimedia system;

  • Demonstrate an awareness of the evolution and dynamic nature of the foundational core of information technologies;
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the professional and ethical considerations of information technologies;
