The library was established in 1976 with the help of Dr. Jose G. Tamayo, President and Chairman of the Board. Housed in the Old Building with only 951 volumes as its starting collection, it operated with only two library staff. It was only in 1985 that the school came to realize the role of the library in an educational institution that the Administration felt the need to transfer the library into a bigger space.
With the growing number of users and collection, the library was transferred to the second floor of the college building. In 1988, the library improved its physical facilities by installing air conditioning units to attract more users. In 1991, the library expanded its area to accommodate the Filipiniana, Reference and Periodical collection as well as the Graduate School and Law section. It was again in the year 1994; the library was transferred to a much bigger space located at the extended second floor of the main building to accommodate the fast growing number of users and collection
