Two of our students from the College of Education won in Poster-making Contest and Photography Contest in the competition held by World Council for Curriculum and Instruction (WCCI) Philippine Student-Teachers Network in celebration of World Teachers Day last October -November 2021 with the theme, “Teachers of Tomorrow: Realizing Teacher Resiliency, Compassion and Dedication.”
Jamaica Africano and Alynna Joan Karunungan were among the winners in their respective contests.
Jamaica won the First place in Poster- making contest. She is in her first year as Bachelor of Elementary Education and Alynna who won the Third place in Photography contest who is in her sophomore year in Bachelor in Early Childhood Education. The contests were participated by the different colleges and universities of Teacher Education Program (TEI’s) from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Entries were carefully judged by qualified persons in their line of specialization.
WCCI Philippine Student-Teachers Network (PSTN) targets to celebrate the skills of the learners in paying homage for their teachers through various contests. Jhoemarie Mojica, Vice President Internal of WCCI PSTN was one among the overall coordinators of the competition. He is also a sophomore student of Bachelor in Secondary Education Major in Social Studies of our university.
Truly artistic side of the future educators can be an inspiration to many.
