The FCL Department of the College of Arts and Sciences of University of Perpetual Help System Laguna conducted its first virtual webinar with the theme: “Strengthening the Christian Faith during this COVID-19 Pandemic” last September 17, 2021 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am via Zoom Conferencing Application. The webinar was originally conceptualized by the late Professor Janelyn D. Castillejo before she passed away in August 27, 2021. The webinar was organized by the FCL department thru the extended effort of Prof.Arcangel Joshua M. Abustan together with CAS Congress officers led by Mr. Aries Coranez, the President of the CAS Congress. The FCL faculty decided to include the tribute for the late Prof. Janelyn D. Castillejo to celebrate her life as well as recognizing her legacy in UPHSL as an FCL faculty. She was also the FCL chairman for a quite a long time and has contributed a lot in all academic and non-academic undertakings of the FCL department.
The speaker of the said webinar was Bro. Mouller Lumage, a Licensed Professional Teacher, a graduate of BSE major in English, AB Philosophy (Cum Laude), Baccalaureate in Theology, AB Theology (Cum Laude), and MA Theology (Magna Cum Laude). He is also an expert theologian and has been teaching theology courses throughout his career. The attendees of this webinar were the CAS students enrolled in FCL Courses together with CAS faculty and parents. The attendees of the said webinar participated actively which in turn enriched knowledge their about strengthening the Christian faith during this COVID-19 Pandemic.
