The PLEIS aimed to: provide a platform to facilitate both the candidates seeking jobs and employers looking for employees for their
companies; identify the needs of the companies and jobseekers which will be incorporated in a management system with updated information on
available services of PPESO; provide an on-line referral/recruitment and placement system as one of the core functions of PPESO; provide a platform
where employers can post their job advertisements where jobseeker can refer to when looking for jobs; provide a reliable and efficient source of data in
monitoring the labor market trends; and provide a solution to the limitations being experienced by both jobseekers and employers in adherence to the
safety protocols set by IATF to battle COVID 19 pandemic. The said event was attended by the various representatives from the Academe, Government
Agencies and Industries.
Present during the occasion were Hon. Ramil L. Hernandez, Governor of the Province of Laguna who delivered an inspirational message
and led in the symbolic activation of PLEIS; Atty. Dulce H. Rebanal, Provincial Administrator who with her welcome remarks; Ms. Mary Jane
Banasihan-Corcuera, Laguna PESO Officer; Mr. Guido R. Recio, Provincial Director-DOLE Laguna; Ms. Dina F. Gotis, HR Manager of Daiwa Seiko

Moreover, with this kind of program launched by PPESO, it would be easier, not only on the part of the jobseekers to hunt a job, but likewise
on the part of the industries to hire people that would fit to the qualifications they are looking for. Educational institutions would be of great benefit on
this project wherein their graduates can access job opportunities in just a finger away. Lastly, a dream comes true to the Provincial Public
Employment Service Office (PPESO) of Laguna for launching PLEIS to create more jobs among Lagunenses amidst this COVID 19 pandemic.
