The library serves as the heart of the institution. It plays an important role in the progress of knowledge and is a place where all users can actively pursue any intellectual activity. It strives to support the University’s instructional, curricular, research and extension programs through an organized, relevant and fast delivery of information services. With its mission, it is committed to provide users with comprehensive resources and services as tools for independent critical thinking and lifelong learning.

In order to achieve these goals, the UPHSL Main library and Basic Education Library developed information services that would meet the information needs of the users, ensuring ease of access that complements the different resources available in the library.

In consonance with the new normal implemented by the government brought by the pandemic crisis, the UPHSL Main Library and BED Library has shifted its functions into virtual library services. It aims to continuously support the teaching, research and learning needs of the students and academic community. The UPHSL – Main Library launched its E-Library containing various electronic resources such as open access journals, e-books, online research databases namely the EBSCO Host, Philippine E-Journals, DOST Starbooks, eSCRA, and the Turnitin. For e-Books and e-Journals are classified according to program offerings of the university.

Its main objective is to provide digital access to information services and resources offered by the library, as well as to promote safe, inclusive and effective virtual learning environments for the students.

The e-library can be accessed via school email account.
