UPHSL supports the clean energy act by being Smoke-Free Campus, encouraging our employees and students to reduce waste by avoiding disposables, turning off lights when a room is not in use, replacing light bulbs with longer-lasting fluorescent bulbs, turn on air conditioning when classroom is occupied. Conserving energy in this campus is practiced at all times. By this simple steps UPHSL helps to reduce carbon footprints. Hence, reducing fossil fuel consumption that causes local pollution if they are produced and used and will cause long term harm to our climate. In addition, UPHSL granted Environmental Compliance Certificate issued by the local government Department of Environment and Natural Resources as well as the Certificate Clearance by the Laguna Lake Development Authority.
