College of Engineering and Architecture

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering

The Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering covers mechanical design, energy conversion, fuel and combustion technologies, heat transfer, materials, manufacturing processes, automatic control, product safety and reliability, and the means of converting energy into useful mechanical forms.

The program develops strong foundations in mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, machine design, manufacturing, energy systems, and automation, supported by laboratory activities, engineering design, research, and industry-oriented applications.

Through hands-on, outcomes-based learning, graduates design, analyze, operate, and improve mechanical systems and processes while upholding professional ethics, safety, sustainability, and continuous innovation.
