Electrical Safety and Fire Prevention

The Community Outreach Program on Electrical Safety and Fire Prevention held at Dr. Jose G. Tamayo Memorial Elementary School on March 16, 2024, was a resounding success. Under the guidance of Ms. Clarisse Anne Lebios and Dean Dr. Flocerfida L. Amaya, and with the invaluable support of Engr. Rodolfo V. Mendoza, our Electrical Engineering Adviser and Assistant Dean, the seminar aimed to educate the community on crucial aspects of electrical safety and fire prevention.

Engr. Rodolfo V. Mendoza, our esteemed Electrical Engineering Adviser, led the seminar with expertise and enthusiasm. His comprehensive presentation covered essential topics such as electrical safety practices, fire prevention techniques, and electrical dos and don’ts. The seminar was not merely a lecture but an interactive session, encouraging questions, discussions, and hands-on demonstrations. Engr. Mendoza’s engaging delivery kept the audience captivated throughout the event, making the learning experience both informative and enjoyable.

The impact of the seminar extended beyond the classroom, as students actively participated in assisting attendees and ensuring their comfort. They took charge of distributing refreshments, guiding participants, and providing additional support as needed. This involvement in community service not only benefited the attendees but also provided students with valuable learning experiences outside the traditional classroom setting. It instilled in them a sense of responsibility, leadership, and empathy, nurturing their personal and professional growth.

In conclusion, the “Electrical Safety and Fire Prevention” seminar at Dr. Jose G. Tamayo Memorial Elementary School was a resounding success, thanks to the collaborative efforts of our dedicated team. Through careful planning, expert guidance, and active participation, we achieved our goal of imparting crucial knowledge to the community. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Clarisse Anne Lebios, Dean Dr. Flocerfida L. Amaya, Engr. Rodolfo V. Mendoza, Engr. Nancy P. Mercado, and all those who contributed to the success of this event. The impact of this outreach program goes beyond the seminar itself, leaving a lasting impression on both the attendees and the students involved.

Moving forward, we remain committed to continuing our community engagement initiatives, empowering individuals with the knowledge and skills that contribute to a safer and more informed society.
