INB COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAM 2024

The University of Perpetual Help System Laguna (UPHSL) demonstrated its active contribution toward SDG 1: No Poverty through its Iskolar ng Biñan (INB) Community Outreach Program’s HANDOG PAG-IBIG Christmas event on December 8, 2024. By targeting vulnerable groups, the program successfully brought joy to orphans at Ampunan ni Hesus, Maria, at Jose, directly addressing material deprivation. The effectiveness of this anti-poverty initiative was critically supported by an effective partnership with local government agencies, which provided essential logistical assistance (transportation, venue, security) and, most notably, essential resources and in-kind donations for the beneficiaries. Students from UPHSL, wearing matching blue shirts, personally engaged the children in games and activities, ensuring a holistic and memorable experience that supports the well-being of those lacking familial resources.
