Empowering Equality: UPHSL’s Commitment to Gender Inclusion and Women’s Empowerment
Through a number of programs and policies, the University of Perpetual Help System Laguna (UPHSL) is dedicated to creating a welcoming and encouraging environment while advancing gender equality. All applicants are treated equally regardless of sex, religion, race, socioeconomic background, gender identity, or expression thanks to the university’s inclusive admissions policy, which respects the values of equality and nondiscrimination. Through the Center of Development (COD) Programs for Women, which include an annual Women’s Month celebration, involvement in gender and development (GAD) research and extension projects, and activities that support women’s empowerment in a variety of fields, UPHSL also actively supports students.
